Salesforce Marketing Cloud Jan'21 Release Notes | Distributed Marketing

Today we're going to talk about some of the great improvements to the distributed marketing across cloud product so we're going to start with amazing enhancements where a distributed marketing administrator or brand can programmatically restrict phrases and variations of content and a granularity that hasn't been available in the system so this experience allows the administrator to add in any specific information including wildcards, using regular expressions into distributed marketing and when the user is typing in anything that violates those policies they'll experience an informational message letting them know that they need to use different words so this allows the organization to control the brand content while still giving the distributed marketing user all the flexibility they need for their book of business

The second feature we'd like to talk about has to do with the content that's associated with distributed marketing. From an administrator perspective, you want to control what content is available for your distributed organization and your distributed users so this allows you to retire specific pieces of content related to a campaign or a quick send so your individual users are only accessing the latest and greatest information. This allows you to continue to keep the metrics available with sends that have occurred in the past without having to disassociate a journey from the distributed marketing campaign or quick send.

The last item here is really about extending distributed marketing so custom personalized interactions are the ability to extend the distributed marketing experience and allow additional personalization beyond what's included in the product out of the box so the Salesforce has added the capability of being able to add multiple custom personalized interaction tabs to the marketer experience.

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud April 2021 release will be available for deployment from April 10th to April 17th, 2021.
